Try to find a different perspective. This is the second time these two planets have squared off this month (the first was 02 October, when Mercury was direct). With Mercury now retrograde, an old disagreement may deserve another look. Old fights can come back around, and we might feel the urge to replay the same argument and prove our point one more time, but this doesn’t help us or the situation. Confrontations may centre around people defending their position than understanding the disagreement. A fresh perspective can calm the fire faster than any comeback. Understanding the source of our anger may help us communicate the actual problem more effectively.
Disagreements and conflicting viewpoints can trigger dramatic verbal exchanges. The search for the truth of a matter may be temporarily waylaid by theatrical displays. This can produce impatience, arguments, reactive messages, frustration, mental exhaustion, or the temptation to speak before thinking. The temptation to deliver a devastating response may be strong, particularly if we believe someone has deliberately disrespected us. However, proving that we can hurt another person rarely resolves the original grievance. Remember that words can carry more emotional weight than usual. If emotions run hot, take a breath before responding. The ability to pause is a form of power.
