URANUS DIRECT IN TAURUS

03 Feb ~ 25 April

Herbal Ally : OAT STRAW

Crystal Ally : MALACHITE

The next three months are about clarifying what we truly value and liberating ourselves from a resistance to change. Stalled change since last September can open back up; everything that has been quietly irritating us suddenly wants a decision. Upgrade instead of detonating.

As sudden changes around stability, values, money, and the physical body that have been under revision for months are reactivated, the tension shifts from internal unrest to visible movement. Something that felt tolerable suddenly feels impossible to ignore. Money habits, clutter, physical burnout, undercharging for our work, staying quiet to keep the peace. The inner discomfort moves into real-world choices.

Focus on making material major changes with stability, security, resources, or finances over the next couple of months. There’s transformation around what authentically feels secure. This can lead to changes in financial priorities, work structures, or how we manage resources and time.  Anything seeming unstable is exactly where growth requires flexibility rather than control. Once Uranus shifts into Gemini at the end of April for a seven-year stint, we are likely to witness communication styles undergoing a global shift.

Uranus is now aligned with the fixed star Algol, called by ancient astrologers the « Demon Star » and believed to activate extreme events, destruction, chaos, and decapitations. On an individual level, we may deal with emotions that have been suppressed. Some may figuratively « lose their heads » and behave strangely or in surprising ways. Algol can also activate feminine power, especially when faced with patriarchal oppression. The last time Algol was strongly activated was mid-July 2024, when Mars conjoined Uranus and both were aligned with the fixed star.

THIS WEEK

This week strips the glitter off our wants and asks a sharper question. What actually works ? This week teaches a simple lesson as momentum gets practical and accountability replaces impulse. Stability is not boring when it supports freedom. Desire works best when it tells the truth. There’s also mental recalibration, stretching ideas past what’s realistic if no one reins them in. Structure without punishment; growth doesn’t need destruction to feel exciting. This is the kind of week that rewards curiosity without asking us to abandon the structure we have already built. Focus on where life asks for follow-through, restraint, and honesty, without draining the fun out of it. Think less fantasy spiral, more intentional adjustment.

Venus runs the show and is not in the mood for fantasy that collapses under pressure. Desire becomes diagnostic. Attachment patterns step into the light. Notice where we bargain for affection, where we cling to comfort, and where we confuse stability with stagnation. Venus spends the week making meaningful connections to Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, shifting how commitment, pleasure, and expectation actually function in real life. Effort shows and avoidance gets exposed.

Overall, this week bridges discipline and imagination. We are not starting from scratch, but we are being invited to think differently about what comes next. The foundation is solid. Now it is time to experiment with how you build on it.

Over the week-end, the tone shifts in a big way as Venus shifts into Aquarius, opening the door to new social energy. Friendships, group plans, and unexpected connections take centre stage. Success does not happen in isolation; who we spend time with matters more than we might think.

Sunday stands out as one of the most powerful days of the week. The Capricorn New Moon offers a chance to set serious intentions and recommit to long term goals. With Mercury and Mars joining forces, motivation is strong and action feels possible.

This week marks a rare moment when Venus, the Sun, Mercury, the Moon, and Mars are all travelling together. Such an alignment won't occur again for at least another 84 years. This daisy chain of planets is unique in and of itself, but what makes it even more powerful is that they will trine and then sextile Saturn in Pisces and Uranus in Taurus at the last degrees of these zodiac signs – the cosmic version of a sendoff; a farewell celebration for the start of a new journey.

We are in the Fourth Quarter phase of the Moon as we begin the week—a time when we see more clearly and are digesting the issues that arose at the time of the Full Moon on 03 January. We are encouraged to find closure, complete projects, and clear out what is no longer working so that we might begin Sunday’s new lunar cycle with a clean slate. Feelings of discontent or disillusionment may draw us inward for processing, especially toward the end of the week.
